Michael D. Stewart
Michael D. Stewart has been a Freelance Writer, PR Consultant, and Banker. He currently spends his days as a marketing strategist and his nights prowling the mean keys of his laptop. His comic book criticism has been featured on PopMatters, where he contributes as an associate editor. Michael is also the co-creator of the Webcomic “Monster Comics” that appeared on AsburyPulp.com. He lives with his wife and dog near Asbury Park, NJ.
Thomas Boatwright is best known for his sequential art comics ZEKE DEADWOOD, CEMETERY BLUES and the new HALLOWEEN LEGION. He has done work for hire on a numerous short stories and a handful of graphic novels. He has also illustrated projects for the education company Learning A-Z. He balances his techniques between paintbrush and paper watercolors with digital art. Thomas’s style is often compared to the work of Edward Gorey with an impressionistic approach. His most recent take on his own art is Frank Frazetta by way of Bill Watterson. He lives in the middle of North Carolina with his wife and cat. He doesn’t like most things and rarely leaves his apartment.
James Greatorex arrived in the United States from Australia in 2003. Due to the lack of comics in his native land, he now has too many. He is a self-taught penciler and inker, whose self-published Webcomic, “The Fix,” can be found on his Website www.jamesgreatorex.blogspot.com. James is also a co-creator of the Webcomic “Monster Comics” that has appeared on AsburyPulp.com His commercial illustrations and comic work have appeared at conventions and online. James currently spends his time as an educator and taking commissions for animals, Star Wars characters and portraits from elementary school children.
